He has a big, proud redbreast.
He sits anywhere that suits him best!
He has joined on our journey,
Seemingly here, there and everywhere.
I smile whenever I see him.
Sometimes he is alone,
Singing his song in gentle tones,
Other times he has company and watches our every move.
But he is brave and not shy,
He watches us above and up high.
He is our feathered little companion who can be found upon guyropes, washing, tents and then upon the ground.
He tucks into the dogs biscuit! though he is not keen,
Then with a song he flies and watches us from safe distance, ready for us to meet him in a place further away and scenery different.
